Independent Living
The majority of housing units in the RVL Neighbourhood will consist of Independent Living suites – roomy, fully self-contained, 2- and 3-bedroom suites in a variety of dwelling styles including single-family, duplex, 4-plex and apartments for singles and couples – providing homes for up to 82 residents on a continuum of care. Older adults who wish to relocate from the family home will be supported to live independently in community while continuing to maintain their independent lifestyle .
Assisted Living
Robson Valley Legacy’s planned 5-unit Assisted Living facility will bridge the gap between Independent Living and Long-Term Care, in a Campus of Care neighbourhood that supports older adults to age in community even as their needs for supports increase.
Older adults with more complex health issues, but who can still direct their care, will have the opportunity to move into one of RVL’s Assisted Living residences. These studio suites will be fully accessible, with kitchenettes, a common kitchen and dining area, as well as recreation and social space to encourage visiting and engagement with co-residents, family and friends, and the broader community. RVL strives to ensure that Assisted Living residents live as independently as possible in community by providing them with whatever person-centered supported living services they require to ensure wellness.
